MEMORIAL MIDDLE SCHOOL BOYS & GIRLS CONFERENCE
On December 8, 2017, Memorial Middle School held its 7th Annual Boys’ Conference and 8th Annual Girls’ Conference. Excitement was in the air as many of our 8th grade students saw snow for the very first time and met their keynote speakers to kick off the conference. The objective of the conference was to empower both boys and girls in everyday life experiences so that they may make wise choices that will better their future. Students participated in five different sessions. Some of the life topics included: Teen Dating Violence, Peer Pressure, Building Teamwork, Abstinence, and Staying safe on social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc. Memorial Middle School is grateful to our community partners in law enforcement, medical field, local prevention programs, and local business partners that passionately spoke and made a difference in the lives of Memorial Middle School 8th grade students.
