Our students and staff showcased our electives and fine arts programs, giving students a glimpse of the many opportunities they can be part of next year. From the arts to athletics and everything in between, it was exciting to see their curiosity as they explored all that our campus has to offer.
After school, we also welcomed families to a parent information meeting, where important details were shared to help support a smooth transition to middle school.

At its January 21, 2026, board meeting, the La Joya ISD School Board approved school actions aimed at improving academic quality, addressing a decade-long enrollment decline of more than 8,000 students, and ensuring financial stability. The decisions followed months of analysis and community engagement involving over 935 stakeholders and are intended to better align resources, strengthen academic programs, and support student success across the district.
